So I waited 8 weeks so I could write a full review... 1.backstory I have endometriosis & have had terribleeee symptoms ( heavy bleeding, clots, months of bleeding, 14 pound bloating! With distinction within a few hours, migraines, joint pain, you get the idea...) I was on HIGH estrogen birth control pills for over a year to help “control” my symptoms. They had me skip my period for 3 months bc the pain was so bad. In order to stop my period - I got it for 4 months STRAIGHT a few times I would have to take 5 birth control pills a day for 5 days in a row 🙈. The birth control helped for a year but with side effects. After 1 year and 3 months of being on it the side effects became too much and my body felt like it was rejecting the birth control so I went off the birth control - and normally if I didn’t take it on the hour I normally did I would get my period within 3 hours 🙈. Sooo I was very hesitant to go off birth control so I bought this supplement after reading reviews and tons of articles .... I finally did it 2. DIM 8 week story: - I was hesitant to start this so I opened the capsule and took 1/3 of it apx 100mg at NIGHT ( bc I read it could make you nauseated and fatigued). First 4 days I woke up with a touch of a headache ( had to CHUG water asap and it went away) and I peed a bit of orange first pee of the morning but that was it no big deal. I felt a little groggy and I felt a little Bit of cramps like my period was trying to start... this happened every morning for about the first 4-6 days. THEN I started having more energy during the days, less body aches, and still no period ! Which is a miracle for me without taking birth control. I did the 100mg every night for 4 weeks and got my period on the fourth week! I had some cramps the first two day’s and that was it! And I only had blot clots the first two day’s of my period but it only lasted 7 days! I wasn’t stuck in bed or in extreme pain! I did get one giant cystic zit on my chin for first 3 day’s of my period but it went away. I craved sugar less & overall I couldn’t believe how much better my period was! Didn’t even need to take Tylenol or use a heating pad! And the fact that it stopped after 7 days and it wasn’t insanely heavy - mind blowing for me. Month 2 week 5- I upped it to 150 mg ( half of the powered capsule) and woke up fist 3-4 day’s with a little headache ( chugged water and fine ) and a little bit of orange pee. Week 6-up it to 200 mg and stayed there for week 6 & 7. Same thing a little headache and orange pee for 3-4 day’s and then done. I have MORE ENEGERY. My digestive system is working PERFECTLY & I have Crohn’s disease! Less gas, normal stool, almost NO pain! This pill I swear is magic - I wish I knew about this years ago! Am I 100% perfect- no but is every week getting better- YES! I feel like I’m 85% healthy & I’ve NEVER HAD THAT. I’m having more useable hours and everyday has been a good health day which is unheard of for me! Week -8. My period came EXACTLY on time of a healthy cycle! And I barely had any cramps before! No boood clots. I do have a little bit of back tightness but that may be from my workout. The blood is red and normal color and not very heavy! I have almost No bloating & no sugar cravings! I was an intense binge eater of sugar and snacks around my period and now that is just not appealing- I can have a few bits and feel good! I am In shock! No joint pain! My stomach is not gassy or giving me any issues! I’m sleeping so much better ( and I have TERRIBLE insomnia). I don’t normally write reviews and def thought this pill wasn’t going to do much but I am using this FOREVER! I’m just angry my doctors never told me about this. I just cannot believe how good my quality of life is all from a friggen supplement made with veggies! Also** I was getting chin hair and my hair in my head was falling out in chunks before I went off birth control, and I kept getting fevers all the time - I am 30 and a personal trainer so I live a healthy lifestyle so it wasn’t because of that but with this supplement after 8 weeks ALLL OF THAT IS GONE!
