READ THIS! I have ordered Rachel Ray treats for my ShiTuz for the past two years and been happy with the quality. My dog, Sushi, is picky as she goes into her senior years (15 years old) and she loves her RR treats. I received a new order of Meatloaf treats yesterday. When I opened I noticed a stronger smell. They were hard and discolored compared to previous packages. I checked the expiration date and it has a window into 2021. I figured they were okay. Sushi ate her treat without hesitation. Early this morning she is very sick, throwing up yellow bile and lethargic. I will watch her for a few hours to see if her sickness passes and hopefully will not have to take her to the vet. I should have gone with my first instinct that the treats were bad. I feel terrible and don’t want you or your dog to go through this. If expiration date is fine but treats do not look right or smell funky don’t assume they are okay!
