I've never tried a Lip Stain before, I'm very intrigued by them, I just don't want to pay that much $$ for a lip color. Hence I found Revlon's Balm Stain. The first couple of times I wore it I could feel the tingly peppermint, which I love, but then my lips got use to it and I don't feel it anymore. I think it works well as a balm, and it makes a beautiful color -- I first bought Honey (the only unopened color on Target's shelf) but it was too similar to my natural lip color, and to me that's pointless. Then online I bought Rendezvous, and I liked that it was a noticeable color, but soon decided it was too orange'ish. I finally bought Romantic, which is the perfect red and exactly what I'd been looking for! One day, I paid close attention to my red lips and I noticed after 5 hours they were still there! but by 8 hours there was nothing left. HOWEVER, I'm not sure what I must have done different on THAT day, because any time I've paid attention since then, there has been no color by 4 hours... So if anyone has any tips for making the color last, I'd love to hear it!
