I Purchased this item because I do a lot of driving. I have a Ford F150 and the seat is sitting at an angle that makes your blood kind of pool in your thighs. I needed something to elevate my thighs higher than my knees. This device is not that soft but it conforms to your body after a while. Today I used it for the 1st time I had to drive round trip a 160 miles and my legs felt much better then when I didn't Have it. I have attached some photos so you can see the angle of my seat with and without the Device. Keep in mind that this device will raise you about 3" I had to adjust my seat forward to reach the pedals after installing It. Hope this helps.
