Having only played the computer and PS3 versions before, I was a bit worried about how the gameplay would translate to the Kindle Fire's 7 inch screen. Fortunately, they are not lying when they say this version has been optimized for the Kindle. It loads quickly, the graphics are beautiful, and even though I typically "fat finger" everything when using touch screens, I've only had a couple occasions where I planted something in the wrong spot accidentally. My only minor gripe is that the plant icons are fixed on the left side. Since I use my right hand to play, this means I cover the screen when selecting a plant or hovering over a plant waiting for it to refresh. It would be awesome if they had an option to play a "mirrored" version of the game. This is a wish more than a gripe, and at this price certainly isn't worth marking the product down.
