We were really happy with the quality of this mattress. The trifold design and carry case made it perfect for travel. It fit our Chico playpen perfectly and provided comfort for naps and overnight sleep for my son. I’ve been advised that adding a mattress to a playpen is not sleep safe; however I felt that it would be okay for my one year old who was room sharing with us on vacation. We had a positive experience with one hiccup: I think it is Important for parents to be aware of. I did put a fitted sheet over this mattress. Because of the lightweight of the mattress and the trifold design my one year old somehow was able to remove the corner of the fitted sheet easily. He woke up screaming because the sheet was covering his face. I’m not sure how he got his head in there like that but thankfully I was sleeping right next to him and was able to intervene. This is a great concept for travel but definitely supervise all sleep and think twice before putting a young baby on this for overnight sleep.
