Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I've been a fan of mechs for decades. From AT-ATs and Transformers and Voltron to countless anime examples and so on, giant walking tanks have been one of my favorite imaginative spaces. I thought that those representations in gaming had died off when Mechwarrior seemed to peter out, so to find a game like War Robots that captured the genre so strongly, is playable on modern mobile devices, and has so much variety in mechs, weapons, and playability...it was a dream come true. No need for a big PC, no need for joysticks or mouse & keyboard (although I do sort of miss that level of control), and you *can* play without ever spending a dime on it. But for me, I recognize that there's a dollar value to my enjoyment so I'm not averse to spending some coins on things that will help me with the setups that I like. It's not perfect, as no game ever is (especially one that's player v player), but for me, this game nails the sweet spot of challenge, fun, and versatility.
