My 11 month old has the most sensitive skin on her tush. I've gone through just about every all natural, no fragrance, no harsh chemical, no dye brand of diaper and they all have left her cheeks red and sore. I've found one that works wonders for her, but they're pretty pricey so when I came across these- which are a bit less expensive- I thought to give them a go. They really are amazing, for the most part. Not bulky, very soft, stay securely closed through all my munchkin's rambunctious activities. And most importantly, they do not irritate her bum. Within just a couple changes the redness and sore spots had begun to clear up. I really wanted to love these diapers and give them 5 stars, but there's one thing stopping me from doing so. While I haven't noticed an actual leak causing wetness, enough of something gets through to leave the outside of the diaper, her clothes, and pretty much anything she comes in to contact with reeking of urine. Even after just one pee, her pants will have picked up the odor and will need to be changed, when I carry her in the front pack my clothing needs to be changed afterward because I'll smell like urine, I've had to change her PJ's and bedding every morning because they reek, and even the stroller and the carpet where she plays most have had to be cleaned several times because of the smell. Again, not from any actual leak I can detect- there's no feel of dampness- just a terrible odor. This wasn't an issue with the other brand. For now I'm doubling these up on her to offer a little more protection and to get through the box, but then I'll be switching back. It's hardly worth the few dollars saved when I'm going through so much laundry and cleaning supplies instead.
