Have never groomed a dog before. Purchased these in April for my mini goldendoodle. Photo is second attempt at using clippers. Very easy to maneuver, lightweight and good ergonomics, so no wrist fatigue. Quiet and not a lot of vibration, (2 speeds) so dog tolerates well. Great battery life, clipped entire dog and still had 75% charge. Comes with all the clipper guard sizes you need. If beginner like me, recommend going on youtube and look up grooming videos for your particular breed. Once dog is bathed and brushed, this clipper should have no problem clipping a small to medium size dog.
