I'm a heavy set guy so I needed a scale that could bare my weight. This scale here was the best bet. It was exactly what I needed. I am above 400lbs so I can vouch that it does work for heavier people. It is battery operated, (Batteries Included) and the LCD screen lights up when you step on it. It is elegant and stylish and looks great. It can confirm that it is sturdy, By stepping on it lol. The glass is strong to support me and doesn't feel weak. The only thing I don't like about it is the number it displays when I step on it lol But that's a work in progress. All in all it is a great buy.
