I have a Doberman and a Husky and the Doby is always cold... So he never wants to play outside very long with the Husky. I had a really hard time finding a jacket that was long enough to cover his back. He's 70ish Lbs but has a long back... And with the deep girth... He's a hard dog to fit... Plus I hate it when the back belly strap hangs low and they pee on it... But this jacket met all the marks! I love it! No it's not super thick... But it's a good weight. Super heavy weight is actually NOT what you want on a healthy, active dog, unless it's below 15F. He likes it and he doesn't usually like jackets. The velcro is VERY sticky... Maybe too much so... It's pulled a few threads. No its not the highest quality... But then you're looking at paying $60+. So for the price this jacket is incredible! Totally worth your purchase! UPDATE! I got the XXXL, first time around and loved it… It was his best jacket. So after wearing it out, I got an XL replacement and a L for my lab. The L is too small, barely fits on, but the XL is massive! Maybe it’s hit or miss? They should use standard patterns so I’m not sure how there can be this much discrepancy.
