Easy to pour without unscrewing lid(which is easy to screw on and off) and if you close the lid after pouring, I have not had any issues with drips or messes mentioned by other reviewers. I like that the instructions caution against using either carbonated beverages or milk in it (due to milk tendency to curdle if stored, etc.)...Carafe is of good design and workmanship and arrived very quickly. I have noticed lately that Amazon delivery personnel do not ring or knock at the door....just put pkg. in front of door. Fortunately, I live in a sheltered place(weather-wise) w/o high crime.
