OK so I’m going to be honest.... I had to leave a review for this item. I shop a lot on Amazon and most of the things that I buy I really like and I end up keeping them,however, I don’t leave a review for most of the stuff I buy because let’s be real I just don’t have the time to write reviews about everything I get. However, I strongly felt that I had to write a review about this comforter. The color is white, not yellow-ish or off-white but a true, bright white. It is extremely soft, fluffy, and cozy. For the first few days, I used it WITHOUT a duvet cover and it looked and felt amazing. After a few days I decided to buy the duvet cover for it (same brand) because I didn't want to have to wash the comforter often, so I figured it would be easier to have a duvet on it that I could just take off and wash. But let me make this clear: you can use this with or without a duvet cover and it is still great!!! The most important thing that I love about this comforter is that it keeps me warm at night without making me hot. Prior to buying this comforter my boyfriend and I slept with a sheet and two comforters because he used to get really cold at night and just one comforter wasn’t enough. When I bought this comforter I wanted to try it by itself so I put away the two comforters that we had on the bed and just kept the sheet and this comforter. That night my boyfriend was a little hesitant he asked me to bring back the two comforters just in case he got cold during the night. I told him just to give it a try because I wanted to see if just the comforter would be enough. The next morning when we woke up my boyfriend looked extremely pleased and said that he had the best night sleep he had in a long time and he said that we didn’t need the other two comforters anymore so I went ahead and donated the other two comforters and just kept this one :) Let me tell you this thing is awesome I swear it keeps us warm but not hot at all it is like the perfect body temperature for sleeping and I literally feel like I am sleeping surrounded by a fluffy white cloud. I feel like I am on vacation, staying at a 5 star hotel room bed in my own room!!! This thing has changed my life :) Every time I enter my bedroom and I look at my bed it makes me want to take a nap! It is just fabulous. I guess the other thing I should mention is that my dog absolutely loves this comforter too!! My dog sleeps with us every night and sometimes we can feel him moving around in the middle of the night trying to get comfortable, however, ever since I got this comforter, my dog has been sleeping through the night. I no longer feel him moving around trying to find a comfy spot on the bed. He looks relaxed lying on the comforter :)
