my wife like most women i know, could get cold in a pizza oven on the surface of the sun, she always used to use 3 blankets minimum (seriously), in the winter it is literally every blanket she can find piled on top of her like a reverse Princess and the Pea. Sometimes i wouldn't even be able to find her in the mass of blankets and would often worry she was lost forever. We ordered an entirely new bed, foam top and sheets and blankets, california king size to be specific, even though we have a combined height of around 10 ft 9 inches, a queen bed was way too small, we were always cramped and fighting for real estate whilst we slumbered, there would be ferocious battles that neither of us were awake for, so we decided it was time to buy a real nice bed. so fast forward to the day this set came, when i opened the package the blanket kept spilling out like oil from the Exxon Valdez, my entire living room and part of my dining room was a veritable ocean of cotton and pleasantry. i screamed praise to the gods of blankets like a wolf on a summit, proud and dignified as i surveyed the massive comforter. When my wife finally got home and saw the massive sea of warmth that had taken our entire bedroom hostage she nearly fainted from excitement. Now she rarely speaks to me as she's always lost somewhere in the blankets folds of greatness, awash in happiness and satisfaction, i think this blanket has given her a sense of enlightenment she never thought possible. i often find her in there, muttering to herself about abstract completion and divine entitlement, whatever that means. although i would recommend washing it at a laundromat, when i brought it downstairs to wash, my washing machine punched me in the face and broke through the basement wall like the kool aid man never to be seen again.
