This product is amazing. Our bedrooms are upstairs and are hot all summer long. I keep the air set at 64-67 to maintain a temp around 79 upstairs, which is terribly uncomfortable. This product is a life changer. I would do commercials for this lol. I originally ordered the wrong size vent cover but still set it up around 11pm and instantly it kicked on and most likely dropped the room temp by 5-8* within an hour. I got online and processed the return due to wrong size and ordered 2 for each side of the room. I set the easy to understand thermostat on 75* figuring it would sense basement air temp and bring that up even if air conditioner wasn’t currently running. And it did. This ran quietly all day and the second night was amazing. I got home after working in the 95* temp outdoors for 5 hours and my upstairs room was cool. Next day, my A/C froze and kinda quit on my so the house was very warm when I got home from work. Main floor registering 78*. Upstairs in my bedroom the fan was still going in my single, wrong size unit and sucking up temperatures below 75* (the range I set on this unit) straight from the basement venting where it’s so cool. Though my A/C wasn’t working , my replacement order had arrived so I put the 2 correct size units in, turned them to 75* and they are cooling down the bedroom pretty quick. Today it’s 95* out this morning and my room is actually chilly. This never happens. I figure with these pulling cooler air up from the basement I will easily be able to adjust the air conditioner by a considerable amount and be comfortable on the main floor (no more summer throw blankets) and still had a cool bedroom. I would gladly give this 100 stars if I could. Wish I would have found these years ago.
