Beautiful helmet in every respect. It think it looks extremely cool, much like a helmet that Highway Patrol officers use. Yes, it is bulky, but that's how a DOT approved helmet must be. You need that bulk to protect your head. You don't want a thin, more stylish helmet that is not going to keep you as safe. A seasoned motorcycle rider will understand this, an overly fashion conscious noob (inexperienced person) that complains about having "mushroom head" will not. Would you really want to chance being in a crash wearing a thin, more stylish helmet that doesn't have sufficient padding? I wouldn't. They run smaller than the chart indicates, and that could be the problem with people saying "mushroom head." Find the size you think you should get and then order one size larger than that. I'm not very good looking, but I have posted a picture of me wearing it so that those considering this helmet can see what it looks like on a person.
