Gel Nails do not completely dry under the lamp. This is the way gel works. Between coats the gel remains tacky, this is the way it is. After you put on your top coat (last coat) you let your nails dry under the lamp for 2min. They will still be tacky, but then you clean them with alcohol that is what removes the tackiness and voila your nails are perfect. People forget that the last step is to clean the gel nails with alcohol. Otherwise you will sit waiting for them you dry like a regular nail polish, but that will not happen with gel nails.
