Awkward to fill since you must take the top part off, turn it upside down, and then it has a couple of extrustions that prevent it being put flat on a surface. Also you need a towel underneath since lifting the top piece does allow water to flow out of the bottom recessions onto the floor. Then, 1 gallon of water is very heavy for a small person and you have to fiddle with the sealer plug and turn the heavy top piece over and get it oriented just right to sit in the base. Doing that means you spill some more water. The design could be improved. Other than that it works as advertised.
