Let me tell you a story. We have an awesome little girl who has always been a good sleeper. Like sleeping through the night at 7 weeks good sleeper. The only issue we've really had with her has been her bad reflux, so she slept in our room until she was 5 months old (in case she had a bad spit up in the night we could get to her quickly). So when we moved her to her crib upstair at 5 months (she was still swaddled at this point) she thought it was party time. She would spend an hour to 2 hours at bed time manuvering her arms out of the swaddle, rolling around her crib, putting her paci in & out of her mouth, and eventually working herself into an exhausted fit where she was inconsolably crying. Good times. This went on for a frustrating two weeks before my husband had a friend tell him about this sleep suit. I literally ordered it on my phone from Amazon while trying to unsuccessfully calm her down in a fit of desperation. I thought that there was no way this thing worked but I was up to try anything. Two days later when it arrived and I put it on my daughter at bed time I was literally crying laughing from how ridiculous she looked (think a mix of the stay puff marshmallow man and the little kid from the Christmas story). BUT we put her down and after 10 minutes of trying to move around and realizing she couldn't, she was OUT. She roused once or twice with whimpers for her paci but she slept for 13 hours. 13 HOURS PEOPLE! I HAVE A CHILD WHO SLEEPS UNTIL 9AM. So just buy it. Seriously. And buy a 2nd one to use while the other one is drying (I recommend air drying it so it doesn't shrink).
