Okay - stop right here. You do not need to look for another sun hat, ever! I need 10 of these. I have been on the hunt for the perfect sun hat - (1) waterproof so I don't need to worry about water stains or splashes; (2) flexible so that I can smoosh it and pack it in my luggage, but then am able to spring it back into shape; (3) stylish so that I don't look and dowdy; (4) not too floppy because I need to be able to see please!; and (5) adjustable so that I can change the style depending on my hairstyle and mood. Check, check, check, check, CHECK. If I didn't have a baby and had more time on my hands, I would take pictures of all the different ways you can style this hat. But - I have a baby. And no time. So I'll just have to tell you about this hat as quickly as I can type. It is fantastic. I took it with me to Hawaii and it survived over 24 hours (from packing it at home to taking it out for the beach) of being smashed into my heavy check-in luggage. When I took the hat out I was dismayed that there were creased folds in the hat. Oh no! But I started fiddling with the hat, and ALL THE FOLDS SMOOTHED OUT! I was able to flip the back brim up when I had a bun, and lay it down when I wore my hair down. I was able to put a double dimple in the top front for a more "cowboy" style hat, or smooth out the top for the look you see on the model. I could adjust the brim as needed - framing my face or flared up. Heck, you can crimp waves into the brim if you want. It is so forgiving and it softly holds the shape! I love the silky scarf sewn into it - it's such a nice touch. I love this hat and cannot recommend it enough! WONDERFUL QUALITY.
