4.5 / 5.0 Honestly, this is the 3rd chance I gave to Cowin. I had originally purchased the E7 Pro's. I really liked them, but experienced the same popping that others experienced with head movement and the ANC on. I contacted Cowin and they treated me awesome. They asked me if I wanted to try a second pair and I agreed. The second pair was equally as bad with the popping. Contacted them again and they refunded my money. Thanks Jack for working this issue out with me. Since Cowin was so good to me and also the E8's were well reviewed, I decided to give them one more shot. These are far superior to the E7's. No popping, far more comfortable, and the ANC is far and away better. The only 2 issues I have are the pivot points on the ear phones and the sound quality. The pivot point still seems a little on the weak side, so recommend being careful. This was an issue that they worked to fix on the 1st generation of E8's. The sound out of the box is two fold. The sound didn't blow me away like the E7's. Folks also need to realize that people hear sounds / frequencies differently and some not at all. I have a Galaxy S8+ that has an adapt sound function in the settings which detects what frequencies you hear better than others. I did that and these sound much better now . Still not the bass punch that the E7's had, but willing to part with that for the ANC improvements. Also, bonus points for the high quality gold plated connectors that are heavily braided. Well worth it if you don't want to drop 3+ bills on the Bose.
