These things are lightning fast in a PCI express 4.0 environment, if your looking at an AMD Threadripper CPU. I just installed TWO of these 1TB SSD m.2x cards in an Asus Zeneth II Extreme TRX40 motherboard and they are insanely fast and have had zero trouble. Do not forget to download Samsung Magician so you can keep these up to date firmware wise and keep them TRIMed(defragged). I swear these cards are like running programs from DDR4 memory DIMMS and not harddrives. they really speed up the entire system OS experience.
