I just received the dress today (from China!). It arrived much quicker than promised, so thanks. I like it, and it is about what I expected for a $25 dress. PROS: *Lightweight, comfortable cotton *One-size – it fits me (size 18) however, if you are bigger or have a large bust or heavy upper arms, it might not work. It might also not work on someone who is extremely petite. *Perfect house dress. It would be a fun dress for someone in her 20s or 30s to wear in public, but for an older woman like me, it is more a casual house dress. CONS: *I washed it by hand immediately, and the water turned deep red. I rinsed it several times, then added vinegar and salt to the water to try to set dye. Do not wash with light-colored items, until you’re sure it won’t bleed. *Dress dried quickly on line (fabric is thin), but is wrinkled (or crinkled, if you prefer). I don’t know if clothes dryer would shrink it or not. *Workmanship is very basic, but adequate. I like to wear loose, cotton dresses around the house, so it’s perfect for that. You’re not going to find this dress at Neiman Marcus, but it’s better than the polyester atrocities you find in low-priced retail outlets. As I said, I like the dress, and it is worth what it cost. If you know what you’re getting, I think you’ll like the dress too. THREE WEEKS LATER I still like the dress. The dye still isn't set well enough that I'd trust washing it with other clothes. I'm going to order another one of these dresses in a different color. I ORDERED ANOTHER DRESS I do not like it--the fabric is not lightweight cotton. Label says 5% spandex, 95% cotton (website said cotton/linen), but it feels like polyester or cheap rayon. I initiated a return, based on misrepresentation of fabric, but I would need to pay for the shipping to CHINA! It would probably cost more than the dress. You cannot wear polyester in South Florida, even in November, it's 90+ degrees. I like the first dress (black and red), but this one is atrocious.
