Surprisingly wonderful read.
I read so many books that I normally don't write reviews...unless it is a really bad or disappointing read. Mail Order Bride: Westward Winds: A Clean.... the title is long, is NOT either. When the title says clean, it means clean. I went a head and gave it four stars since I knew from the title there would be no spice and sizzle. However, that being said, spice and sizzle does not always have to be hot. The main characters in this book are spicy in a sweet way and do sizzle with a warmth that touches the heart. I could not put the book down, reading straight through and forgetting to head to bed. Dean is suddenly faced with a mail order bride prospect, Tessa, that his brother Marcus advertised for in Dean's name with out Dean knowing. Tessa is from a rich and affluent family, tired of the social constraints and fake relationships in her social circle she seeks adventure, signs up for a mail order bride company and picks Dean's letter. I will leave the details for you to read, but it was a lovely read. I would have liked a little more detail in some of the story areas, but that is just me. It is just my insane curiosity and knowing more would not have changed the read of the book at all. I am sure that if I purchase the sequels (Tessa's sisters stories) some of that will be answered. Saying that, because I absolutely hate when an author breaks apart the story for the sake of selling the parts in more books, this novel is stand alone, the happy ever after is complete with just this read on its own. I recommend this read.
