Good stuff!
So for starters I'm allergic to all chemical sunscreen. Even those half and half like Biore Sarasara my skin cannot tolerate. So a blogger mentioned this one as a physical screen and the texture is nice. So I came to Amazon and bought it, $10 for 55ml is not very expensive even if I can't use it. The verdict, I love it!
If you use any physical sunscreens you know they are thick and they leave a white cast. I also use La Roche Posay mineral sunscreen as well. This one is slightly thicker compare to LRP's, very slightly. Most will probably say otherwise but I think it's a tiny bit thicker.
I use about a quarter size for my face. It 's very easy to spread, doesn't take a lot of effort to cover my face. I won't say this absorbs b/c I hate it when people say that. Physical sunscreen do not absorb, they're not suppose to go anywhere but sit on top of your skin and reflect rays! Chemical screen absorb, not physical screen! This settles very quickly and dries semi-matte for me. White cast? Barely on me. I'm Chinese, I don't think I'm considered tanned.
Longevity, I'm in the office most of the day. It's been in the 90s and with a very high humidity in Boston these few weeks. This never made me turn into a greasy pit, it also doesn't interfere with my makeup either. I use this with L'Oreal's Pro Matte once and ran to the train station in 90 degree weather. I was drenched in sweat literally dripping off my hair. When my husband picked me up, I noticed my makeup floated. It was as if my makeup fought with my skin and it lost so it's sitting on top of it. That was the only time I had trouble, but then again it might've been like this with any other.
Lastly I never broke out from using this. So I do recommended using this if you can't use chemical sunscreen and would like a physical screen that don't make you break out greasy.
