Good quality, and good enough for my use.
My $600 Samsung Galaxy tablet died when the battery finally refused to take a charge, and I evaluated my real needs. I use the tablet for email, some web browsing, a feed reader and reading e-books, so I knew I didn't need a top of the line tablet costing 8 to 10 times this much. The build quality seems every bit as good as my old Galaxy tablet, and the size and weight is just a bit smaller and lighter. At this price I'm not too concerned with protecting the screen or case, so I just bought the AmazonBasics 10-Inch Tablet Sleeve and it fits perfectly. There's an odd sense of freedom knowing that the replacement product was about 1/6th of the cost of the original tablet. Because tablet batteries are not replaceable by mere mortals, and they usually wear out in about five years, if this tablet lasts a year I'll be very happy. I suspect, based on my initial review, that it will last long enough for me to be very satisfied. Edit, someone asked about it having a microSD slot; indeed it does. It is under a large rubber cover along the same edge that the power and volume buttons are. I popped the 16GB card I have in it out halfway to show it, and how large the space is under that rubber cover. I suspect on the more expensive models Lenovo puts "other stuff" under there.
