I got this for my husband and my daughter's cars for Christmas. It does work, however, it's somewhat challenging to maneuver by yourself. Each of the flaps go inside the door so it's challenging to get one side to stay inside the door and shut it, particularly on windy days, and then do the other side by yourself. My husband and I put this on together and it was a somewhat windy day and were challenged to get the flap to stay in the car and shut the door without injury to our hands while closing the door. It does work though and would recommend it. Perhaps someone else has a tip on how to secure this without all the issues of possible injury.
