This works on my hair and I am attaching a photo so that you can see my hair type. I've been using this ever since I spotted some in a store a few years ago. I can't find it as easily here where I now live so I snap it up online. Because this is by Garnier, some people might think it's not for ethnic people with kinky/curly hair. It is and I know because that's my hair type. It's very hydrating and I like to put some on first thing in the morning. My hair tends to dry out overnight or in certain kinds of weather and it will look great but feel "crunchy". This softens my hair. One day I was using it and a friend of mine remarked on how great it smells. A lot of hair products DON'T smell good, so that is a plus. I only wash my hair every 6 or 7 days because it's very dry and I don't want to strip the natural oils. My other products help with that. THIS one works to maintain that moisture and softness in between washing. If you have dry hair like I do, you will need to re-use a little bit of this product 2 or 3 times a day until your hair is 'balanced'. This is one of THE MOST affordable products I can use on my hair to soften and condition it for the day. Now that I have found it here, I'm about to start 'subscribing' so I can save even a few more pennies. As much as I shop here - and even repeat order things - I have NEVER subscribed to a product. That's how good this is.
