I am not handy, fix it with a staple gun or duct tape or replace it. This stuff is fantastic! it does not leave a sticky residue and you actually can re-use it. I have a dog that is a counter surfer and now I have a gate to keep him out of the kitchen without big screws in the walls. I also have a 6 month old kitten that has been tearing my house up. I taped the plant stand down without ruining my floors and taped the plants down, no more messes every morning. Candle stick no longer rolling around the tub and the gate is a heavy plastic, did not have to drill holes in my new gate to hang the dog sighn. I will have more uses as time goes on and may buy another roll.
