This watch finally hits everything I need. Beautiful screen with no flat tire AND an ambient light sensor so it is unobtrusive in a theater but easily visible in full sunlight. I still haven't figured out how they did that actually. It has a microphone and a speaker. It has 3 buttons and a Snapdragon 2100 processor so it is ready for wear 2.0 when it comes out. The battery lasts a full 24 hours of normal use with the screen always on. That's amazing. IP67 so you could swim with it if you want and certainly don't have to worry about hand washing or sudden downpours. The only hardware features it is missing are GPS and a heart rate monitor. I find heart rate monitors on watches to be completely useless and though GPS seems like it might be nice, if I'm going more than around the block I'm bringing my phone anyway just for safety. The band is not universal, in fact it is very specialized. I hope ASUS builds a good selection of them. It is very comfortable though. The way the lugs are angled makes it comfortable to wear and stay on the top of the wrist. The band itself is good quality leather so it is comfortable to wear and doesn't irritate my skin. The charger has an attached cable that is only 3ft long, so it is VERY limited in where you can place it. That is the only major downside I've found, but most other watches have similar issues. Once spares are available I'll get a couple and probably a USB extension for my nightstand. It charges so fast and lasts so long, I am less worried about it now then when I first saw the charger. In short, this watch is as close to perfect as I can imagine. The price is right where it should be if not lower than I'd expect. I'm very critical of electronics (don't get me started on Pixel) and this watch has blown me away. Thank you ASUS for finally making a (nearly) perfect smartwatch!
