I have ordered two of these cooling pads and am pleased with both items. Originally the plan was to purchase one, but I was so impressed with how this "gift" for my hubby turned out to be, I HAD to have one for myself and my older laptop. I've had both for over 5 months now with ZERO issues. You will actually forget you are using a cooling fan at all, that's how quiet it is!!! There are 4 fans total, (two on the upper portion- that use one rear located variable switch control for fan speed, two on the bottom - same type of control in rear). There is ONE extra USB port in the rear near the switches to use as you please, the other USB is what you use to power the cooling pad into your laptop. The lights automatically come on when the fans are in use, there is no option to shut them off, in case you were curious. Doesn't interfere with anything. The cooling pad does fold down and is slim enough & light-weight to travel with. I personally like the angle of the tilt of this stand, it hasn't been a problem for myself or my hubby. I find it the perfect height for my neck to be comfy. I tried really hard to find something I didn't like about this thing, but from pricing, options I wanted in a fan and basing my own personal use and experience using it over time.....there is not any thing to complain about. 5 STARS!!!
