Because of the price I didn't have extremely high expectations. I was leaning towards the Bose NC headphones but I thought I'd give these a try before forking out the additional $'s. The first positive was when I slipped these on and experienced the comfort of the headphones. It was sheer pleasure when watching in-flight movies as padding blocks out quite a bit of surrounding noise and I found the sound quality to be exceptional. Lots of plug-in adaptors included for multiple devices and nice carrying case. Wore these for a 12 hour flight to Tokyo and no issues whatsoever. Noise cancelling worked well too but I mostly use them for music and movies when flying. Highly recommended.
