This has to be the best compass on Amazon. It's waterproof, sturdy, comes with a nice case and setting the "degrees" is easy via a rotating dial. You can feel the solid quality when holding this compass. You will receive a heavy (solid) product so don't think this is a lightweight item. Therefore, if you are taking long hikes, the compass may slightly weigh-down your backpack. I like how the product has a level "bubble" so you can if the compass is on a level surface.
