Hi, this is Woolly Bear - the cat who this bed was purchased for, and this is my story. I was so excited while waiting for the brown truck guy to deliver my new bed, and then for my personal servant to open the box for me. Wow! It's gorgeous, and so soft! I'm 16 years old, and getting just a little stiff when I wake up, so I was really looking forward to sleeping in a heated bed! We plugged it in, and chose the right place for it in the den. It heated up just as the description said it would - slightly warm without a cat in it, and warmer once one of us climbs in. I was all set to snuggle in, and right then, my adopted brother, Pippin, climbed in and commandeered my new bed! It was as if he owned it, and there was no reasoning with him! He's only let me in once with him, and it's a little snug with both of us, which caused further disagreements and hurt feelings, as we weren't on the best of speaking terms at that moment. All of that warm, silky softness just inches away, and I couldn't get in! It was an intolerable situation. Fortunately, our cat servant saw my predicament, and ordered the K&H 12.5" x 25" Thermo-Kitty Mat for me to use on our deep windowsill. Yet, I was still feeling a little out of sorts that little Pippin had stolen the big, oval bed that was purchased for me, while I was on the heated mat on the windowsill. And he only gets out of that bed for about 2 hours a day to eat, and well, you know. Now that it's starting to get cold in our family room at night, and seeing how wonderful both of our K&H heated beds have been working after a few months, and how easy they are to clean, we just ordered the large K&H Thermo-Kitty Bed Deluxe - the big one with the hood that covers part of it. I'm sure we'll both fit into the large, hooded one, but Pippin will have to ask politely and deferentially if he ever wants to join me in our third K&H bed. I'd better start waiting at the door now for the brown truck guy, just in case he comes early! Please remember my story of bruised feelings and sibling misunderstandings, and buy at least one heated bed per kitty in your household. And try not to feel hurt if your cats barely glance up at you from their heated beds when you return home, and if they seem even less interested than they were before in what I'm sure are fascinating stories of how your day went.
