Essential purchase for anyone who loves Bod Dylan. I have only one criticism and it's rather serious - though it won't reduce my rating. Before ordering the deluxe set from Amazon, I bought the inexpensive 2-disc version in a local store. The 2-disc includes a booklet that contains quite a bit of the printed material in the deluxe edition - PLUS, it contains notes by one Ben Rollins on each of the 38 tracks included in the 2-disc release. Those notes on the individual songs are nowhere to be found in the big deluxe edition! I found these notes so informative that I was looking forward to seeing the notes on ALL the tracks that I expected the deluxe set to include. No such song-by-song notes by Ben Rollins in the big set. A very significant absence. Believe me, I'm not exaggerating the quality of those notes and my regret that the deluxe set does not include them.
