This light has been excellent. Have used for about 10 mountain bike night rides now. The bar mount is simple but works. Light stays put and doesn't move around when you go over the rough. The light is bright and i like the color of the light. Its a natural slightly yellowish white that gives better visibility at night, esp if things get wet. Some others i have seen have a "whiter" color that may seem brighter when you look at it, but washes out more easily at night. It is very bright and comparable to my friends Nightriders and other name brand lights. I typically use it on the lowest or 2nd lowest settings for climbs then on on max or 2nd highest on descents. This is just to ensure i have juice at the end of a ride. Battery lasted through a nearly 2 hour ride with juice to spare. Only con is i can think of is the helmet mount looks cheap (i do not use it on my helmet so i cannot comment on functionality) def recommend the light. It is a great value and actually looks pretty dam good. The cables has not come loose during a ride yet but it does give me a little anxiety. Wish there was some kind of locking or snap mechanism just to be sure it is secure. again it has not come loose during a ride so maybe i am just being nitpicky.
