After 22 years in dog rescue, I've used every type of bark collar there is. I like the DogRook collar the best of all of them. The dog pictured wearing it is one of four "unadoptables" I ended up adopting myself. She came in as a fear biter, very distrustful of men. Cha-Cha will bark at them incessantly. This collar works for her. Just the buzzing of the vibration is enough to stop her. Although it may take awhile for it to work for your problem barker, the DogRook collar has a number of features I really love! It is the lightest no-bark collar I've encountered - especially great for small dogs. It is easy to set up and use, has a quick-release buckle and the reflective thread is an excellent touch. It has a bright, removable dog bone cover over the battery compartment (and comes with an extra) - another thoughtful touch. It's unobtrusive and attractive, which is something I cannot say about any collar I've used before. Shock collars are too severe for most dogs. Citronella collars eventually clog. This one is just right, and I will be purchasing a second DogRook No-Bark Collar for the other problem barker in my home.
