It's very comfortable, she's a hot body, and she stays fairly cool in this car seat. We've taken it for long car rides, 854 miles each way, and she slept through all of it, where she used to wake up every 100 miles in her Graco infant car seat because she got so hot in it. Update:: I took this seat with me and this car seat fits on all Delta airplanes even the regional jets. Rearfacing the seat in front of you wont have any reclining room, so o turned her forward facing in 2 recline and she slept like she does in long car rides.
