Unlike other reviews this works perfect for my bedroom door and In my test it would be very difficult for someone to open the door without kicking it completely in. But with the high decibel siren it would give me ample time to wake up And to access the situation at hand. This is not my only deterrent they still need to get through my security system and my motion detectors before they would even get to my bedroom door. But in the event something were to fail this little doorstop gives that little added protection as well as ease of mind for my wife when I travel. I recommend this product.
