Waited Ages for this, and does not disappoint!
I've been a fan of these books since the late 90's and have always imagined what it would be like translated to the silver screen. I think the team behind this show have done an amazing job in distilling Robert Jordan's world into something digestible for episodic television. The characters are perfectly realized and brought to life by a wonderful cast; the cinematography is breathtaking, both in the incredible natural environments they've found to serve as the Westlands, and in their purpose-built streets of Emond's Field, Breen Spring, and Shadar Logoth. And seeing the fantasy elements of Trollocs, Fades, and the One Power step directly off the page an into reality is just a joy to behind! Definitely a great start for what's sure to be an epic journey!
