This is my SECOND REVIEW of the Bovine Tracheal Cartilage (BTC). See my first review at this link... https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R61B8B0DYDTMH/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B075G4Y6ZG I began with Ancestral Supplements after my mother gifted me the Bone Marrow for my birthday- something I’d thrown on a ‘wish list’ simply based off the reviews, the time the company obviously invests in people, and a desire to continue towards an ancestral-type diet that had brought me back from a health crisis in just 9 months. I did not know the precious gift I’d received in Mom’s unique birthday gift, and just how valuable a tool these supplements would be in my continued journey back to life! Barreling past a momentary culturally-induced squeamishness, I dumped the capsules into a smoothie and began critically analyzing and tracking the experience (closet ‘science nerd’ here- I love the thrill of integrity-rich experimentation). ONE WEEK LATER, the Bone Marrow had clearly caused my FINGERNAILS to grow longer and stronger, my SKIN to soften and fill in, and I began to notice some ease in my JOINTS. I'm young, but my joints had been clearly suffering and creaking from lack of nutrition, insulin derangement, and some unresolved injuries. On top of that, a previously recommended low-fat vegan diet had compounded the issues. But a foot in the door with this incredible company was one of the best presents Mom could’ve given me. And I ordered my first BTC without hesitation after that first week with the Marrow, convinced I may have very well stumbled upon A NUTRITIONAL ‘GOLD MINE.’ Now with a double-duo of Bone Marrow and BTC (taking SIX capsules daily of each, requiring about 45 seconds to dump into a delicious smoothie), I really began to see more changes. WOUNDS were healing faster, JOINTS continued improvement (morning joint-popping disappeared), and I experienced what I dubbed ‘nutritionally-induced adult teething,’ as I began to see my dormant wisdom teeth come in out of nowhere! I’m either getting wiser or these supplements have some legitimate deep nutrition! ;) BTC is said to have all the building blocks for connective tissue and cartilage, including something called CHONDROITIN which I’ve seen in supplements for joints before. Imagine receiving this effective building block in its WHOLE surrounding package of a minimally-processed ancestral food, rather than isolated on its own in a chemistry lab! All of these properties could not have come at a better time, as not only have I been trying to heal from diabetic and genetic autoimmune symptoms, but I just began intense physical functional therapy for some injuries which over time have affected pelvis, spine, neck, jaw, and thus the entire postural stance. Having these nutritive foods which support BONE AND CARTILAGE HEALING has SOLD me on the principle this company uses of “LIKE HEALS LIKE.” Like healing like is a principle our ancestors would’ve known intrinsically. And this company is bringing it back, wrapped in an entire package of well-thought-out wisdom. Some of it seems radical to us modern minds who’ve forgotten much of the art of being human. But when you begin to feel better, and see years of suffering under modern diseases just melt away little by little, you begin to realize that what we’ve done to ourselves is far more radical than what it takes to reclaim our health and our vitality as people! I just received my THIRD bottle of BTC since mid-March, and as I’m getting into the more intense portions of daily functional therapy, I will continue to rely heavily upon all that these supplements offer to support structural healing. The thing I’m learning about bones is that they are far more malleable and 'heal-able' than we’ve ever thought before. DAMAGE CAN POTENTIALLY BE REVERSED OVER TIME, and that brings HOPE to many! Don’t we need some hope today!?! Not giving medical advice, here, but if you suffer from ARTHRITIS OR BONE LOSS, or are healing from therapy or an accident, I HIGHLY recommend these products as an alternative and support to healing the body. Even better might be to include these supplements WITH A MORE ANCESTRAL-BASED DIET, such as a higher healthy fat / lower carbohydrate diet. I just passed the 11 month mark on this protocol and I feel better now than I ever have in my life! WHAT'S SO EPIC ABOUT THE ANCESTRAL SUPPLEMENTS COMPANY is that they are WAY MORE than a business- it’s a tribe of people holistically seeking to do whatever possible to return to a better way. He has taken the time to respond to questions, concerns, or just sharing stories and hope. No one is spared today from the impacts our modern lifestyle has on our health and well-being. Everyone has a story, a journey to walk out, in search of a more authentic way of living, and being FULLY ALIVE! Everyone has their own piece of the puzzle to bring, and ANCESTRAL SUPPLEMENTS RANKS HIGH among them- in wisdom, innovation, and integrity. Including BTC, I now make room in my budget to take FIVE of their supplements daily, and I have seen a HUGE impact to my health. They are: (1) Bone Marrow, (2) BTC, (3) Liver, (4) Adrenal, and (5) Thyroid. I see positive impacts to skin smoothness, hair health, nail strength, teeth health, muscle strength, hormone balance, insulin levels, energy levels, quality of sleep, and much more that I will share in future reviews!
