The ONLY low carb sweetener
I don't understand complaining about the cost of a product after you buy it. Strange. Yes, right up front when you order it look at the price. It cost a little more than other sugar alternatives. Its new to the market (less than a year as I write this). EVERYTHING new to the market has a heftier price tag. Allulose has 70% of the sweetness of sugar. It can be used cup for cup in recipes calling for sugar. (which is plenty sweet) But if you want the same amount of sweetness as sugar you add 1 1/4 cups. Easy. It doesn't work well in baked items that you expect to be crispy. It keeps things moist. (see the bread recipe above) Great for ooey gooey chewy cookies, not good for crispy ones. It has ZERO aftertaste. No cooling sensation. Its very much like sugar! It browns a lot like sugar so you can make your own caramel. Your baked sweets brown like you expect them to and don't come out pasty looking. Suggest you don't gobble tons of it at first. Your body is not used to it. Have a single serving every other day for a week or more before you try to eat half a pie or an entire batch of cookies. Your body needs to grow the bacteria for digestion of it. Go gradual and you will never have gut issues. This is my favorite brand of Allulose products!
