I'm starting a new life and have been looking for a rug to cover an ugly kitchen floor in my new apartment. At $20 this was worth a try and turns out to be all but perfect. The color is the same as represented, it doesn't slip at all, absorbs water when I spill it, doesn't catch on my toes, looks great, catches odds and ends so they don't go skittering into corners . . . all sorts of things. Visitors even admire it. I've gone from a person who never really gets around to cleaning her kitchen floors to it always being clean. This is easy to toss it in the wash, reduces the amount of floor space, and looks so good I automatically clean what's around it. I'd give it 4 1/2 stars if I could because the only thing is that it lacks padding. That doesn't bother me but may others.
