My girlfriend recently introduced me to the Pampered Chef version of this cooking utensil and I was floored that I have never seen one before! I thought I had all the good cooking gadgets but this had somehow alluded me! Lol I HIGHLY recommend this meat bashing tool. It “chops” your food up evenly and in to small enough pieces with out making them too small that they’re just crbles. I also found using this multiple times that breaking down the meat in to smaller even pieces from the beginning of cooking actually expedited the cooking time and cooked the food more evenly! A win all around! This is perfect for alternate uses like smashing soft fruit or vegetables like tomatoes. The construction and material is quality. It’s study and doesn’t feel too light. It can take a beating. So far it’s been very heat resistant. The best part is that it’s very affordable. While I love Pampered Chef the price for this utensil is $7 cheaper. In comparing to my friends Pampered Chef one, I see no difference other than the name! Everyone needs one for their kitchen!!
