The HW-A550 connected seamlessly to my Samsung Q60 series TV via HDMI ARC. The HDMI ARC option on the HW-A550 makes it worth the extra bucks more than the HW-A450 if you want the best sound out of a 2.1 system. You can also immediately notice the extra power on the HW-A550 - 410 W! The subwoofer is also very impressive. But what has impressed me the most is the Dolby 5.1/DTS Virtual X option - truly excellent at replicating surround-sound-like output from the sound bar and subwoofer. The Adaptive Sound Lite option is not as good as the AI Sound Pro on LG's comparable 2.1 sound bar systems, though (I have an LG SN5Y upstairs). I recommend the HW-A550.
