Our Verizon Fios router is on one side of the house upstairs and we always had trouble getting service downstairs on the other side of the house. Other wifi repeaters seemed expensive. Got this for $32 with Amazon prime and it came the next day. LOVE it! If your router has the "two arrow" wifi button, set up couldn't be any easier. Plug the repeater into the wall, push the button on the router, push the button on the repeater and it's ready to go. It comes up as a "_ext" on any device you want to attach to it (phones, laptops, tablets, etc. When you open your device's wifi settings, it will automatically show as whatever your previous wifi was named with the ext. Click on that, put your original wifi/wep password in, and you're ready to go. I'm NOT a techie, was worried about set up, and it was very easy. As the picture shows, it has two small antenna's. We had to use the bottom socket in the wall due to the plug orientation. It's been running for about three days, no drops, much better reception. Looks like it gave us about an extra 100 feet of reception with many walls in the way, so I'm pretty happy. Obviously don't know about longevity yet, but will update in a few months.
