Some tips on using fly traps
the fly traps work great I live in the county and I hate fly's I have used them for many years if you have not used them before I have three tips they smell very bad after about a week, and I leave them up about 3 to 4 weeks as they work better and better as the stink gets worse and trust me they do fill with fly's, and smell is bad enough to make you puke so tip 1. put them away from were people doors or windows are. Tip 2 when you change them do it when its cool out they don't smell as bad, and tip 3 use bailing wire when hanging I looped wire through the eye on the top of trap the other as an eye for the hook put tape on both the ends of the wires so they wont poke or tear the trash bags you need to use to remove traps to the trash. ( I use small office type trash bags work best for me ) You want to make sure the fly traps are easy to remove I use hooks that hold the bags away at least an inch from a wall or post this way you can slid the trash bag over the trap wile its hanging. ( you don't want to shake or move the traps if possible ) Then seal the traps in the trash bags with tape around the top half of the bailing wire still sticking out the top of the now sealed trash bag then its easy to take the trap off the hook and to the trash, this keeps the stink and grossness way down .
