I'm glad I ignored a lot of the negative reviews and grabbed this case. This is an excellent case for the price. It went on easily, holds my phone snugly, keeps the camera lenses and screen off of any surfaces, doesn't wobble when I lay it flat, and it's clear and shows off my new blue phone. Some texture on the sides for a better grip would have been nice, but this case is still not hard to hold onto. For reference, I'd say this case is easier to hold than the phone by itself. This case is also comfortable enough that I never think about the fact that I'm holding onto a case. I just get to enjoy using my phone without worrying about dropping it. That said, I haven't dropped it yet, so I can't say for certain how much protection the case would offer, but it feels sturdy enough that I think it would mitigate any impact. As for the buttons, I think a lot of people complaining about the button labels and textures are forgetting this case only costs $12. Are the buttons flat, yes. Are they impossible to find with your finger, no. Each button has little grooves on either side that you can easily find with your finger until you develop muscle memory. It took me all of 20 minutes to get into the habit of finding the buttons without looking. As far as the text on the buttons and the side of the case, it's not some glaring affront to the eyes. I wouldn't have thought twice about the text other than having seen some people complain about it on here. If that sort of thing bothers you, you should probably spend more than $12 on your phone case. Originally, I was buying this as a cheap temp case until the $90 Mous case I wanted was back in stock, but after seeing what a good job this $12 case does, I might save ~$80 instead and just go with this Spiegen unless/until it fails. If you need a case for your new phone, do yourself a favor and just spend the $12 to buy this one. It will be money well spent.
