I’m not sure why all the other negative reviewers just cannot understand that swamp coolers only work in DRY climates. If there is humidity in the air, this just will not work. It will not cool warm, humid air. I don’t understand how you can buy a swamp cooler for a humid climate and then be upset that it doesn’t work. Anyway, in the foothills of the Rockies where there is typically 20-30% humidity, it works amazingly. I left it running in my small apartment for a few days and it had cooled the apartment from 86 degrees down to 75. Definitely recommend if you live in a dry climate but don’t want to purchase an AC unit.
