We're on the boat all summer so I got this to protect my phone from water and drops. So far it's done a good job of protecting it. It is completely waterproof. I can even take my phone in the shower or swimming if I want to. Also I have dropped my phone several times, onto asphalt, rocks, wood, etc and no damage whatsoever. My only problems are 1. the fingerprint reader is iffy, even with the factory screen protector film removed, and sensitivity turned up. Sometimes it will read it sometimes it won't. 2. the screen protector part WILL scratch. Unfortunately mine scratched right over the front camera lens. 3. It gets a horrible glare in bright light, I've tried different lighting settings and nothing helps, even adaptive brightness. So it's not an Otterbox or Lifeproof case but this is good value for the price.
